Higashi Honganji with which it is called "Ohigashi-san" by people of Kyoto and which is loved is the center of the Shinshu group.The huge Buddhist temple is built and located in a line with the vast site. The shrine which makes the center especially is a large building to the extent that 4000 adherents can visit to pray at once, and is the wooden structure of the largest-in-the-world class in the Hall of the Great Buddha in Todaiji. The Shinran Saint's image is installed here.
