The five-storied pagoda which is known as the oldest steeple in Kyoto which escaped the war disasters of the Onin War, and is adding effect to the walk of Higashiyama particularly. The height of a steeple can be inspected to those with 40m, and the 2nd layer. Godai-rikison , such as a Dainichi, Shaka, Hojo, and Amitabha, are installed in the first floor, and also the colorful picture showing Jodo faith can be seen. The inside of a capital city can be overlooked from the second floor, and it is pleasant.
